From Labor Panes to Window Hero 

Our story began in 2005 in North Carolina, where Tyler Kirk founded Labor Panes with a simple yet ambitious vision. He noticed a lack of professionalism in residential window cleaning and set out to change that by building a company rooted in exceptional service, team culture, and integrity.  

The first chapter of our story officially started in Charlotte. It was here that Tyler and his team built a local reputation for top-notch window cleaning services, earning trust through unmatched consistency and outstanding results.  

Word spread. Customers noticed the difference professionalism could make in their homes’ appearance, and word-of-mouth referrals created the foundation for growth. This became the guiding principle that still leads us today. 

Fast forward to 2012, when we launched our franchise model under the name "Window Hero," allowing our vision to reach even more communities. By 2021, under the HomeFront Family of Brands, we rebranded to Window Hero, signaling a new era of nationwide impact within exterior cleaning. 

Milestones That Shaped Our Journey

  • 2005: Labor Panes was founded with a mission to put professionalism back into window cleaning.

  • 2024: Innovation didn’t stop there. This year, Window Hero became the first national franchise to introduce drone cleaning for commercial clients.  

Over the last 20 years, we’ve expanded to over 35 locations across five states, serving countless homes and businesses with services that go beyond just windows. Today, we’re proud to offer a full range of exterior cleaning options—from precision pressure washing to eco-friendly soft washing.
